Antique Half Mantle with Carved Accents, Vintage Solid Wood Fireplace Surround

A beautiful solid wood mantel salvaged from a central Illinois home prior to demolition. This particular mantel is simple, yet stately, with ornamental embellishments along either side. The finish is uneven from age as shown in the photos. Carved accents are likely a wood composition material and not solid carved wood.
This mantel measures 60 1/4" tall, 60 1/4" wide, and 11 1/2" deep at the shelf. The opening in the front measures 41 1/4" wide by 41 3/4" tall. The interior depth is 2" from the back of the mantel front to the wall. 
There are some spots of wear and a worn finish on top of the shelf. Please see all of our pictures for details.
