A complete working swinging door system salvaged from a Victorian era home in central Illinois. This antique solid wood door is painted on one side and unpainted oak on the other. It comes with all the original hardware including the peg for the top of the jamb and the spring loaded hinge for the bottom edge of the door (cannister in photos).
This antique swinging door or butler's door measures 31 7/8" wide by 80 3/4" tall by 1 3/4" thick. There are some spots of white paint on the unpainted side and pictured a small chip in the wood at the top inside corner as shown. The spring loaded hinge cannister is rusty and may need some cleaning and oiling before reinstallation. There is also a lock at the base of the door, but will most likely need paint removed to allow it to work correctly. Please see all of our pictures for details.
