29" Large Antique Iron Floor Vent Cover, Extra Large Metal Floor Register Grate Cold Air Return #070808

An ornate antique vent cover salvaged from a Danville, Illinois church prior to demolition. This large sized register cover was used over a large cold-air return opening in a floor of the church. They are popular for use as vent covers, but can also be used for repurpose projects like table tops, doormats, and more. This antique vent cover is in very good physical condition although the surface does have rust. These are easy to clean up and repaint in a fresh coat if desired.

This antique cast iron vent cover measures 29 3/8" by 29 3/8" across the front. The raised section on the back, which sits inside the opening in the floor, measures 26 3/4" by 26 7/8".
