Small Newel Post Top, Newel Post Carved Wood Finial, Antique Staircase Post Top

A simple turned-wood antique newel post top or finial. These were placed on the top of a staircase post or newel post and were a decorative flourish at the end of a railing. It would make the perfect finishing touch for a staircase that is missing this piece. There is paint on this piece as shown in the photos and nails at the bottom.
