Set of Yale Kelp Design Doorknob and Backplate, Nickel Plated Antique Door Knob Back Plates, Victorian Era Door Hardware 082110

An unusual and high-end pair of Yale designed "Kelp" doorplates or escutcheons. These are solid bronze with a nickel plating that gives them a silver tone finish with the typical tarnishing. One plate is outfitted with an opening for a thumb turn latch or privacy latch handle as well as a keyhole. Please see all of our pictures for details. There are some small remnants of paint in the recesses of the design.
Each plate measures 2 3/4" wide by 7" tall. The keyhole and doorknob opening are 2 5/8" apart. This set ships free within the US.
