Set of 17 Antique Spindles, 17 Old Turned Wood Stair Balusters

A set of seventeen matching turned wood spindles from a Victorian era staircase. These have an elegant, turned design and tapered center. They would be a great repurpose project or could be reincorporated into a railing again. Please see photos for close ups and details on this set; there are a few chipped corners and nails in the top or bottom edge. Each spindle measures 1 1/4" square at the top and bottom. They are approx. 28-29" tall from the bottom edge of the spindle to the bottom of the angled cut at the top of the spindle; this measurement does not include the peg at the bottom which is approx. 1".  Height varies slightly between spindles.
