Set of 28 Antique Spindles, 28 Old Turned Wood Stair Balusters

A set of twenty eight matching turned wood spindles from a Victorian era staircase. These have an elegant, turned design and tapered center. They would be a great repurpose project or could be reincorporated into a railing again. Please see photos for close ups and details on this set; there are a few chipped corners and nails in the top or bottom edge. Two spindles have a significant split in the wood at the top or bottom as shown. 
Each spindle measures 1 1/4" square at the top and bottom. They are approx. 29 1/8" tall; this measurement does not include the peg at the bottom which is approx. 1".  Height varies slightly between spindles. This set ships free within the continenal US.
