A breathtaking set of pitcher or thumb latch pulls most likely from a municipal building based on size, but could also have been from a mansion. The ornate detail on this set is done in a high relief and features flowers, vines, and bunches of grapes. The pair has been very lightly polished to bring out the design although there is still some remaining paint in the recesses of the design as pictured. The handles have a gorgeous patina from many years of use and the thumb latches have fine detailing.
One handle is affixed with bolts to the plate and the other handle will need screws that install through the door and into the plate. The full set is made from solid bronze and are in excellent condition.
Each of these large door pulls measures 21" tall by 3 3/4" wide. The cylinder lock opening is 1 1/8" wide and the lever for the thumb latch which extends from the back of the handle is 1 7/8" long. Please see all of our pictures for details. This set ships free within the US.
