Pair of Reole Cast Iron Doorknob Backplates, Ornate Cast Iron Door Knob Escutcheons

An elegant pair of Reole pattern door knob plate or backplate. The detailed designs at the top and bottom are perfect examples of Victorian craftsmanship. We have several pairs available. These are authentic antique backplates which are the perfect addition to a historic restoration or a great way to add instant old home character to new doors! These particular pairs have some bronze plating left as shown. Patina and finish will vary from set to set.
Each backplate measures 2 1/2" by 8 1/2" tall. Keyhole and doornob opening are 2 1/4" apart on center. This listing is for a pair of plates as shown (enough for the front and back of one door).
