Ornate Fireplace Summer Cover, Victorian Era Seaside Motif
Couldn't load pickup availability
A stunning Victorian era summer cover typically used to cover fireplace openings in warmer months. This style has an incredibly detailed design of a woman with a fishing net, shells, and fish. It could be an art piece on its own whether paired with a fireplace or not.
This antique firebox cover measures 20 3/8" wide by 24 1/2" tall and 1 3/4" deep at the top lip. This piece is made from durable cast iron; no cracks are present. There is weathering and pitting to the iron at the bottom as shown. The paint remaning on this piece is loose in areas as well. Please see all of our photos for details. This item ships free within the continental US. No PO boxes please.
