 An elegant Victorian fireplace mantel is white paint with carved details across the top section. This stately mantel would be a gorgeous, period correct addition to a Victorian home, but would also add instant charm to a new build or remodel as well. The back left piece which sits against the wall is slightly loose and may need to be renailed and screwed before installation. The paint is distressed as shown which could be sanded down smooth or stripped to reveal the old growth wood beneath and there are some nicks in the wood in a few areas as shown in the photos. This Victorian era fireplace surround measures 58 1/4" wide by 51 1/4" tall by 11" deep at the shelf. The opening is 41 1/2" wide by 38 3/4" tall with an interior depth of 3 3/4".
