A cast bronze set of Newark pattern door knobs and plates from a 1925 church in Peoria, Illinois. This style has a beautiful Gothic design with heavy, solid bronze plates and door knobs with double set screws meant to stand up to wear and tear in a public building. These are authentic and original to the 1925 building from which they were salvaged prior to demolition. We have many pairs available; patina will vary slightly from set to set, but all will be lightly polished around the edges to bring out the details of the design and remove remnants of paint. Please see all of our pictures for details.
Each back plate measures 8" tall by 2 1/2" wide. The door knob opening and keyhole are 2 1/4" on center. Each set consists of two doorknobs, a connecting spindle, and two escutcheons or plates. This item ships free within the US.
