This listing is for a single antique encaustic tile in either red or black. The pattern features a bold flower in the center. Encaustic tiles are highly durable and made to last. These particular tiles were usually seen on the floor around a fireplace, but could be used in a variety of areas such as a bathroom or kitchen back splash. These small tiles measures 1 1/2" square. The red are 1/4" thick and the black are 3/8" thick. There are some very minor chips around the outside edges of some of the tiles and the patina varies from tile to tile, but these are all in very good condition.
