An unbelievably elegant, swirling brass chandelier with graceful looping arms and floral embellishments topped off by canary yellow glass shades with ruffled edges. This large Victorian chandelier is a gorgeous example of early electric lighting. It has been fully rewired with new sockets and modern bracket for easier installation. This would be an excellent piece for a restoration project of a beautiful Victorian or early 1900s home. The brass piece of this light have been stripped and cleaned of a previous layer of paint. Some paint still remains in the recesses of the curving arm sections and brass socket covers. One of the yellow glass shades has a crazed finish as we've tried to highlight in the photos. This antique brass and glass chandelier measures approx. 44" tall by 29" wide and 5" wide at the canopy. Metal finish will vary slightly throughout the piece as pictured. All pieces and shades are in very good physical condition.
