Small Antique Carved Newel Post Topper, Wood Newel Post Finial Top 100509

A beautifully turned antique newel post top or finial. These were placed on the top of a staircase post or newel post and were a gorgeous decorative flourish at the end of a railing. It would make the perfect finishing touch for a staircase that is missing this piece. Please see all of our pictures for details.
This newel post top measures approx. 7" tall overall, the square base is 2 1/4" tall by 2 3/4" wide. There are some imperfections in the surface and a small chip in the outer edge of the finial as shown in the photos. This item ships free within the US.
