Pair of Antique Nickel Plated 1870s Doorknobs, Silver Metal Door Knobs with Fancy Design

A pair of 1870s nickel plated brass doorknobs with a highly ornate design around a 'button' center. These are unique due to the nickel finish and were manufactured by Russell and Erwin Hardware ca. 1873. They would be an excellent addition to any old home and could be paired with nickel or bronze backplates and look fantastic. There is more wear to the finish of one knob as shown in the photos.
