16" Fish Scale Cast Iron Baseboard Vent, Antique Angled Vent Cover with Louver Back #071402

A black painted scalloped design wall vent cover. These were traditionally used at the base of the wall with a damper on the back to control the flow of hot air into the room. This particular pattern has a scalloped or fish scale type design across the front. Very decorative; great for decorative use or as intended for a vent cover!
This vintage iron grate measures 16 1/4" wide, 13 3/4" tall, by 2 1/2" deep at the base.
