Urbino Pattern by Yale and Towne Antique Door Hardware, Antique Bronze Doorknobs and Backplates, Victorian Era 032603

A gorgeous set of antique bronze doorknob and matching plates by Yale and Towne hardware. This pattern was named Urbino and first appeared in 1894. The doorknobs features a finely detailed acanthus leaf pattern around a flower center as do the back plates. There is some wear on the base of the shanks from prior removal and wear around the collar of one plate, but the set is in otherwise very good condition.
Each backplate measures 10 1/4" tall by 2 3/8" wide. Doorknob and keyhole are 2 1/2" on center. This set includes a spindle, two plates, and two doorknobs. This set ships free within the US.
