Pair of Wooden Wheat Carvings from Church Altar Surround, Vintage Hand Carved Appliques
Couldn't load pickup availability
A gorgeous pair of vintage carvings from an altar surround of a 1925 church in Peoria, Illinois. We are not sure if the altar was original to the church or a later update, but they are very likely hand-carved and date to at least the 1950s, if not earlier. They are beautifully done with painstaking attention to detail and precision. These were truly a labor of love and would make a heirloom quality wall hanging or can be permanently affixed to a piece of furniture or incorporated into the architecture of your home.
Each carved panel measures 11 1/2" tall by 5 3/4" wide by 1/2" thick. This pair ships free within the US. No PO boxes please.
