Antique Mechanical Pull Chain Doorbell, Victorian Era Pull Style Door Bell or Servants Bell 092609

A working antique doorbell which works by winding up a coiled spring inside and will ring when the small hook on the back is pulled. The hook can be attached to a chain or small rope when installed to activate the bell (picture #6). The mechanical parts are all in working order and the bell is loud and clear; easy to hear, even from other rooms in your home. The nickel plating on the bell is worn as shown.
