Vintage Oak Stair Newel Post, Craftsman or Arts and Crafts Style Staircase Post 042005

A simple, but nicely made antique newel post from an early 1900s home in central Illinois. This style is popular because it was found in many homes and would suit a variety of restoration projects although it's also a great way to add character into a new build as well. This antique staircase newel post measures 37 1/2" tall, 7" across the widest part of the top, and 5" at the mid section. There are some small holes in the surface from hand railings as shown and nicks in the finish from age and use. This item ships free within the continental US. No PO boxes please.
