From the mid to late 1800s, these glazed ceramic knobs could be found in many homes, however, each has a slightly different glaze making them a favorite even to this day. The mineral swirled glaze mimics wood grain and these are often referred to as Bennington doorknobs although they are not 'true' Bennington style. This style pairs well with a variety of antique door plates or escutcheons and will compliment most decor.
Styles and 'grain' will vary from set to set, but the knobs pictured are the ones you will receive. This listing is for two knobs, both pictured above. One knob has a straight shank and one has a 'footed' shank or flared as shown in the photos. If you prefer the footed shank ground down to fit a standard doorknob escutcheon please choose that option at checkout. This set ships free within the US.
