Antique Decorative Cast Iron Fireplace Frame, Antique Firebox Opening Frame

A cast iron frame with decorative embellishments along the face of the frame and hood. This style frame would typically surround a firebox opening of a fireplace. Underneath the hood, the frame is stamped with the patent dates adding a charming historical element to this set. This would be a beautiful piece for finishing off a historic fireplace or adding antique charm to a new build. Surface rust and remnants of paint (near the base) is present and this piece will need cleaning or repainting before installation.
This antique fireplace frame measures 30 3/8" wide by 30 1/2" tall by 5 1/8" deep at the hood. The opening is 26 1/2" wide by 22" tall. Please see all of our pictures for details. This item ships free within the continental US. No PO boxes please.
