Antique Solid Wood Carved Half Mantle, Quarter Sawn Oak, Vintage Solid Wood Fireplace Surround

An antique mantel with carved designs on side supports and gorgeous finish that shows the stunning wood grain. There are minor signs of wear in the wood such as small marks in the finish and a worn spot by the top back corner. There are two pieces of wood that look to have been installed along the inner side openings to enclose a surround. They are screwed in and look to be removable if a wider opening is needed. This antique wooden fireplace mantel measures 60” wide by 48 1/4” tall by 10” deep at the shelf. The interior is 35 5/8” wide, 35 7/8” tall by 5” deep.
